It’s true that Jozi (Johannesburg) is not nearly as scenic as our coastal cities but we’re a world-class city filled with many sites worth exploring. Here are a few ideas of things to do around the city, even if you’re on a tight budget.

uShaka Marine World is a 16-hectare (40-acre) theme park which was opened in 30 April 2004 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It comprises 4 sections: uShaka Sea World, uShaka Wet ‘n Wild, uShaka Beach, and uShaka Village Walk. It is located on the strip of land between the beachfront and the harbour. It was the first phase in the redevelopment of the Durban Point.
Pennington is a small coastal town on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Apart from a large sugarcane and dairy farming industry, it also hosts scores of holiday makers who flock to the seaside during the December holidays.
