Photo Journal: Ringing in the New Year at Pennington Beach, KwaZulu-Natal

Family Vacay, January 2012!

Pennington, a charming coastal town on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, is a hidden gem that comes alive during the December holidays. Known for its extensive sugarcane and dairy farming industry, Pennington also draws scores of holidaymakers who flock to its pristine beaches to soak up the sun and ring in the New Year.

Our family spent 5 days at this beautiful seaside destination, enjoying the tranquil surroundings, warm ocean breezes, and the festive atmosphere that only a South African summer can offer.

Check out the photo gallery below for some of my favourite moments from our stay, capturing the essence of our New Year’s celebration at Pennington Beach.
